Life Skills Programs & Makers Lab

The life skills program at ISGS trains our learners through an exploratory environment to continuously develop self-awareness, reflect on their social actions, communicate effectively and respectfully, co-operate and collaborate to become contributing individuals of this world.

The main objectives behind the SEL curriculum are:

Beacon provides our primary learners with the chance to discover more about themselves and teach them basic skills leading to consistent and productive personal, social and career development.  While the personal/social domain caters to self-development; the academic domain gears them to the concept of lifelong earning; and the career domain exposes them to the career world and the subsequent qualities needed to succeed in it.

Just be me is a multisensory and skills-based social-emotional learning (SEL) program to help preschoolers learn to self-regulate, ensure a prosocial learning environment in the classroom, understand difficult emotions, interact positively with others, build resilience, and experience greater social and academic engagement.
